This is a 4.5 lb thrust valveless engine, and has zero moving parts and is a perfect size
engine to get into the jet propulsion hobby.
They can be made as heavy duty static test engines, which would be perfect for
science projects, or light weight RC and control line capable flight engines.
Its a small engine coming in at 32" overall length but packs a lot of power and the same
or better fuel efficiency as all the well known valved engines, except with no moving
parts to ever replace!

This is an example of an all stainless custom made 12 LB thrust Chinese Valveless pulsejet, it has no moving
parts.
This size engine is great if you are already into pulsejets but want to run something a little bigger. Its easy to
start and will run at full throttle on propane vapor with no problem, and is not too big for a 1st engine either.
It has excellent power and fuel efficiency and would make for an awesome science project.
This size engine is also great for testing and general pulsejet research, and would be excellent for a high
school tech class or college engineering department demonstration engine.

The lockwood has been a popular choice for powering things like gokarts and bikes
because it packs the power of a much longer engine into a short folded length.
This 20 lb thrust engine would be enough to power a mountian bike to impressive
speeds! Riding a jet powered vehicle is quite a rush because they just keep
accelerating and accelerating!
For gokarts and other heavier vehicles the 55 lb thrust lockwood is a sure bet. The 55
lb Lockwood will propel the average gokart with poor aerodynamics between 45 and
60 mph! If you make something very aerodynamic it will go much faster!
