Advanced FWE : 2 LB Thrust
|
The advanced FWE is a popular design, its simple, and easy to start, and runs well in a wide range of conditions.
The design has even been test run at -15 degrees F with no problems other than being really unpleasant to be
outside during the test.
The engine is all stainless, made from 20 gauge 304 stainless steel. Its light but heavy enough to stand up to
long static test runs.

$140 USD with spark plug, fuel injector, and Pulsejet CD S&H not included.
The engine is about 25" long and 2.5" max diameter with a tail diameter of 1.25".
The engine is all TIG welded and leak free. It comes with a 1/4" stainless fuel injector line set up to run on
propane.
While propane is a very safe and easy fuel source to use, you can also use a RC fuel pump to run the engine on
almost anything that burns.
Gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, methanol are just a few of the things pulsejets will run on. A mixture of 80%
gasoline 20% methanol is a very powerful mix for pulsejets.
We also can make the FWE as a linear engine, with the intake facing the opposite direction as the exhaust. In
the linear configuration you can literally see right through the engine.
A stainless thrust augmenter with adjustable mounting bracket can be added for $25. Augmenters increase the
thrust output by using the exhausts waste heat to produce extra thrust with no additional fuel consumption.
